World Ballet Grand Prix Norway

For every young talent we recognize the unique opportunity to work towards a goal, developing technique, artistry and inspiration in the process, and the joy, excitement and humble experience of presentation before an international panel of esteemed jury. The judges have the possibility for rewarding numerous scholarships to prestigious ballet academies, helping the students to reach their potential and further goals. WBGP Norway is an educational competition where all participants learn and experience throughout the competition.

We look forward to having you with us at the World Ballet Grand Prix Norway competition 2024, 30th of June until 2nd of July. In beautiful Hamar kulturhus.

We also plan for a pedagogue seminar during the competition.

The winners of 2024 will be invited to go to the big final of WBGP in New York 28th-31th of July 2024, and the 31st of July is the big gala performance.

It is wonderful that such a competition is finally organized in Norway, and that Norwegian values are safeguarded. This was a positive experience in every way for our students.

They got to show off, see and get to know other students of the same age, and train with new and skilled pedagogues. It was perhaps a little scary at first for some of them, but it quickly passed once they experienced the togetherness.

The fact that they also got to see how skilled you can become with the right amount of training was a great inspiration for everyone.

Everyone went home with a new positive experience, new friends and a sense of new mastery!
